SUSANA MONTEVERDE
BOARD TREASURERSusana Monteverde (she/her/hers) is the Director of Individual Giving at the Alley Theater, one of the largest professional nonprofit theaters outside of New York City. Previously she was a Development Officer at the University of Houston’s Katherine G McGovern College of the Arts. As a longtime passionate arts educator, Monteverde was the principal owner of SuMo Arts, an arts educational consultancy specializing in contemporary art, and was the Director of Education for the Blaffer Art Museum at the University of Houston. For more than fifteen years Monteverde served as a board member of Friends of Women’s Studies, an organization dedicated to supporting the Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies Program at the University of Houston, including a three-year tenure as President during which the organization established the first two endowments in support of the program. Additionally Monteverde has served as Team Leader for the Harvey Arts Recovery Fund, and as an Artist Board Member for Lawndale Art Center.
