KATY GOODMAN

BOARD VICE CHAIR

Katy Goodman (she/her/hers) has spent her career as a passionate advocate for the power of the arts, working to create meaningful community connections and celebrate diversity and beauty through cultural expression. She currently serves as the Arts and Culture Coordinator for the City of Port Townsend, WA. Prior to this position, she was senior director of development at Centrum, a multidisciplinary arts education nonprofits, where she oversaw major individual fundraising initiatives, special events, marketing, foundation grants, and served on the strategic planning leadership team. After graduating from Oberlin College, she spent two decades as a nonprofit leader and fundraiser in Houston, Texas, where she co-founded and was director of the creative youth development organization Workshop Houston. Before moving to the west coast with her family in 2021, she served as development director for the Moody Center for the Arts at Rice University and launched a consultancy where she supported arts and education groups across the city in fundraising, administrative, and strategic planning projects.
