Queer Artist Salons

A working group that formed at the 2025 Town Meeting 1978-2028: Art League Houston Symposium dreamed up a bi-monthly Queer Artist Salon that Rendezvous has hosted. Inspired by the salons made famous by Gertrude Stein and the artists and writers in her Parisian circle, these gatherings are an opportunity for attendees share brief samples of their current work or production.
