Forrest Scherer (b. 1986, Seattle) is a visual artist and curator based in Los Angeles. His work has been exhibited at Last Projects, Los Angeles; Paris London Hong Kong, Chicago; Outsider Festival, Austin; GLASS BOX, Seattle; Actual Size LA, Los Angeles; studio e, Seattle; SOIL Gallery, Seattle. In 2017, Forrest founded Specialist, a contemporary art gallery and project space in Seattle that is still running. In 2022, he completed his master’s degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Low Residency MFA program. Forrest is currently painting in his home studio in Highland Park, Los Angeles.
